What is Anglicanism?

Read about our Theology

Anglicanism is called the “middle way.” Anglicans are catholic in that we follow the teachings and worship style of the ancient church. The church has been saying many of the same prayers we pray each week since the first century! Yet, Anglicanism has been greatly influenced by the Protestant Reformation as well. We hold strongly to the authority of the Bible as God’s revealed word. We also believe that every person is called to have a personal relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. We are also called to serve others in the love of Christ, helping them to know the truth of the gospel.
