FROM YOUR INTERIM RECTOR
Four quick items:
1. Back Home to Beville December 8: We will return to our worship home next week, December 8, at 10 a.m. Please mark your calendars, because if you go to Saunders on December 8, we won’t be there! So the Beville Middle School Cafeteria will be our “Cathedral” each Sunday for some time to come. We’ll also be there for Christmas Eve service – Hot Chocolate & Goodies at 4:00, Special Music at 4:30, Christmas Eucharist at 5 p.m. Beville Middle School, 4901 Dale Boulevard.
2. Holy Baptism on December 1 at Saunders. This Sunday, we will baptize Mary Millette at the family service at 10 a.m. Let’s all be there to support the Millettes and our parish family. This is a special time in the life of our parish.
3. Giving Cards for 2020. What an outpouring of love it was on November 17, as we all carried our Giving (Pledge) Cards to the altar as a token of our thanksgiving to Almighty God. We now have a good hold on the 2020 budget for ministry/mission at Immanuel. If you have not yet been able to offer your Giving Card, please place it in the offering plate as soon as possible or mail it/bring it to the church office. Thanks!
4. As Mary Ellen and I celebrated Thanksgiving in the Albany, NY area, I paused to give special thanks to God for all of you. You have been blessed by God as a parish, and you are a blessing to many as you share in word and deed the salvation offered by Jesus Christ. There is much to be thankful for in 2019, isn’t there?
