Kathy Oravetz is going on another Wheels for the World mission trip, this time to Kampala, Uganda from September 12-21. Kathy and her mission partners expect to fit and distribute 225 wheelchairs along with walkers, canes, crutches in just 5 days. Praise God for providing all the funds for this trip. Please pray for those in Uganda and the US who are organizing the event, for the folks who have refurbished the wheelchairs (done by people who are incarcerated in the US), and for travel preparations including safe transport and delivery of all the wheelchairs. If you would like to donate items that will be helpful:

• bicycle gloves (fingerless) any size child through adult,

• wheelchair bags - if you would like to make some please let me know. I have the pattern/directions.

There is a bin in front of the kitchen to collect the items AND there are directions for the wheelchair bags along with some fabric.  Each bag takes 1/2 yard of fabric.

The last day for donations is September 7.
