A Word from the Director of Family Ministries

Dear Immanuel Family,

Thank you so much for joining us in prayer as we prepare for Vacation Bible School, July 28-August 1. Your prayers are a vital part of this ministry, and we deeply appreciate your support!

To help guide your prayers, here are some specific areas we ask you to focus on:

1. For the Children

·        That each child feels safe, welcomed, and loved from the moment they arrive.

·        That their hearts are open to learning how to love like Jesus. Loving, forgiving, serving, and praying for others.

·        That seeds of faith planted during the week will grow and bear fruit in their lives.

2. For the Volunteers

·        That God grants them energy, patience, and joy as they lead and serve.

·        That they are filled with love in every interaction with the children.

·        That meaningful relationships form between volunteers and kids, encouraging spiritual growth.

3. For the Families

·        That parents and caregivers feel supported and encouraged by our church community.

·        That the lessons and experiences from VBS continue to grow at home throughout the year.

·        That families without a church home feel welcomed and drawn to our congregation.

4. For Our Church and Community

·        That VBS would be a light and a blessing in our neighborhood.

·        That God’s presence is felt strongly throughout the week.

·        That we would continue to live out what we teach: to love like Jesus.

We also ask you to pray for VBS Sunday (August 3), where we will invite families who participated in VBS to come and worship with us. Pray that many will come to experience the love and fellowship of our church family and that this will be a meaningful step in their faith journey.

Thank you again for your faithful prayers. VBS is more than a program… it’s a ministry that reflects the heart of our church. Thank you for praying, supporting, and spreading the word. Let’s work together to help children learn to love like Jesus!
