Update from The Search Team

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own

understanding; In all your ways acknowledge him, and He shall direct your paths. – Proverbs 3:5-6

The Search Team has moved into the final phase of our process in the search for a new rector. Earlier this month we welcomed our finalist to Woodbridge for an in-person interview. After much prayer and deliberation on our side and the Candidate’s, we discerned God’s will to present him to the Vestry. Following the presentation, Vestry is now in the process of reviewing his portfolio and providing him full consideration.

Your continuing prayers are crucially important in these coming weeks. Please pray for the Candidate and his family. Please pray for the Vestry as they prepare to make a final decision. We trust God to lead and show them His will for Immanuel.

Thank you for your prayerful support throughout this process. We are joyful that God has brought the Search Team to the conclusion of our work in the search. We seek the leading of the Holy Spirit to guide Vestry in this next phase.
