Backpacks for Kids: Serve
In Prince William County, there are many children that are food insecure. Food insecure is “the limited or uncertain availability of nutritionally adequate and safe food.” In Prince William County, over 19,000 elementary school children qualified for free or reduced-price school lunches. Although these children are provided meals during the week, some do not have access to food on the weekends. We want to ensure these children don’t have to worry where their next meal is coming from by providing children with weekend food bags.
Prayer Ministry: Serve
If you have a desire to pray for people by the power of the Holy Spirit we would encourage you to consider joining in the prayer ministry at Immanuel. Prayer ministry often takes place during church where you will have the opportunity to pray over people who ask for prayer. The prayer team also serves at outreach events where we do ministry to local communities and in other ways as well. Feel free to reach out to the contact people below.
Where: Sunday Morning Service 10am at Immanuel Anglican Church 7075 Hoadly Road.
When: Sunday Morning Service, Middle of service before communion, outreach events, and more.
